HDI Global names Alexandrine Ajavon as General Manager Global Network Africa
Commercial and specialty lines insurer HDI Global SE has announced the appointment of Alexandrine Ajavon as General Manager Global Network Africa, report to Martial Fuge, Head of Global Network at HDI Global.
In her new role based in Paris, Ajavon will manage relationships with HDI Global’s network partners in Africa and support multinational clients conducting business across the continent. She will also focus on strengthening HDI Global’s position as a leading insurer of International Programmes.
Ajavon brings 20 years of experience in multinational insurance programmes to HDI Global, having previously worked at AIG, Marsh, and Sanlam-Allianz, among others.
Fuge expressed enthusiasm for Ajavon’s appointment, stating, “I am delighted to welcome Alexandrine to my international team.
“Her deep knowledge of the insurance industry and the African continent make her the ideal person for HDI Global to deal with the fast-evolving regulatory environment in Africa. We see a growing demand from companies to do business in Africa. With Alexandrine on board, I am confident that we’ll be able to further drive our proposition in International Programmes and offer our multinational clients tailor-made insurance solutions that are fully compliant with local regulations when they expand their business to Africa.”
