Global specialty re\/insurer Ascot Group has announced the appointment of Steven Goldman as Global Head of Distribution, a newly created role, effective July 7, 2025.<\/p>\n

Based in Stamford, CT., Goldman has been tasked with developing, leading and executing Ascot\u2019s global distribution strategy, as well as supporting the company\u2019s mission \u201cto be a perfect partner for a less-than-perfect world by delivering optimal service to its trading partners.\u201d<\/p>\n
He will be reporting to Jonathan Zaffino, Group CEO and President, who commented: \u201cWith the introduction of this role, Ascot is strengthening our commitment to best-in-class service, expanding our global market presence and deepening our long-standing relationships with existing broker partners.<\/p>\n

Goldman, who has over 25 years of industry experience, is joining Ascot from CNA, where he most recently served as President, Global Management & Professional Liability, responsible for the overall management of the company\u2019s Affinity, Financial Lines and Healthcare business units.<\/p>\n
